Journal of Human Environmental Studies
Journal of Human Environmental Studies is an academic journal that integrates the humanities and sciences with
the aim of creating a new research field that is based on humans and that
seeks to elucidate the interaction between humans and the environment.
The journal publishes research papers related to the study of human cognitive
mechanisms of external environmental information, the study of the interaction
of human groups with their environment, the study of the characteristics
of the social environment as assumed in nature and history, and the study
of newly created logical, economic, and political systems.
This journal accepts English and Japanese language contributions.

Journal of Global Tourism Research
Japan is establishing its status as a tourism-driven country, and tourism
is positioned as one of its key industries, for which high expectations
are being placed. Academic research, including surveys, is essential for
the utilization of local tourism resources, but the accumulation of research
and data is limited and the country is far from being a tourism powerhouse.
In order to raise the level of academic research, the International Society
