|タイトル：The Actual Effect on Enrollment of "Education for All"|
サブタイトル：Analysis Using Longitudinal Individual Data
概要：This book clarifies the actual enrollment situation of primary school children in Honduras since the late 1980s and the effects of Education for All on their enrollment. This research used longitudinal data to trace each child from their entrance in school to graduation/dropout, and conducted a true cohort analysis. This data can possibly clarify individual children’s enrollment status and consider cause-and-effect relationships of factors that influence enrollment. This is a unique study that observed enrollment as a pattern and examined changes over time. Based on empirical research, this research devised recommendations for SDG4-Education 2030.
|タイトル：Complex Emergencies and Humanitarian Response|
編著者：Mitsuru Yamada and Miki Honda
概要：It is composed of two parts. Part I takes a theoretical approach and Part II takes a practical one. Through discussions from both approaches, this book presents the reality of the unstable situations and difficulties that conflict-prone and post-conflict nations face. The chapters analyze complex emergencies and humanitarian efforts by diversified actors - nations, international and regional organizations, and civil society. We hope this volume can contribute to a better understanding of the challenges for the international community to stabilize and root real peace in conflict-affected societies. Peace is not an event that happens immediately but efforts by many diversified actors offer us a glimmer of hope for the future.
